Trey Taylor - Manager and Trainer
Growing up, Trey developed a lifelong passion for team roping and a deep appreciation for what makes a great rope horse. Whether he was roping goats, donkeys, cows, or the dummy, he always had a rope in his hand. Rodeoing and competing on Double Dollar horses from a young age gave Trey firsthand experience with the difference a great horse can make. Those horses helped him earn numerous saddles, buckles, and team roping jackpot wins, instilling in him a passion for producing the same caliber of horses that helped shape his own journey. Today, Trey brings that experience, passion, and competitive drive to Double Dollar Ranch, where his focus is on developing exceptional rope horses from the ground up. He believes that success in the arena starts long before a horse ever enters the box. It begins with a solid foundation, a great mind, and the consistency to perform under pressure. His approach is centered on developing horses that are broke, athletic, confident, and dependable, with the ability to compete at the highest level.
With a commitment to quality over shortcuts, Trey strives to bring out the full potential in every horse he works with. His goal is to produce horses that not only have the talent to win but also the mind and foundation to stay consistent throughout their careers. Built on generations of Double Dollar horses and a lifelong love for the sport, his vision is to continue raising the standard for what a great rope horse should be. At Double Dollar Ranch, the goal is simple: build the kind of horses that make a difference in the arena, earn their riders’ confidence, and leave a lasting mark on the sport.
